ELODIZ SYLVA™ SPECTROMETER
ELODIZ SYLVA is a family of stand-alone spectrometers designed for ease of use and portability, making them an ideal analysis tool in a variety of applications and techniques (e.g. Raman, fluorescence or UV-Vis). Whether you are a novice or a seasoned spectroscopy user, our SYLVA modules can help you with your analysis.
SYLVA spectrometers can be effortlessly integrated into other devices and provide specific functionalities when incorporated as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) component or a DIY spectroscopy set-up.
Common applications
– Analysis of light sources (e.g. LED lights, incandescent or fluorescent lights) – by examining the spectra you can gain understanding of the lights’ composition or efficiency
– Study of chemical reactions
– Astronomy – analysing the light from stars or planets you can learn about their composition
– Environmental monitoring – to measure pollutants in air or water
– Material identification and characterisation – by comparing spectra of unknown materials with reference spectra (e.g. in forensics) or identification of physical or chemical properties (e.g. particle size)
– Biological studies – in biochemistry or medical research, by studying the absorption and emission spectra of bio samples
– Art and archaeology – to analyse pigments and materials used in artwork and artefacts in conservation efforts
Example of application.
Advantages
– Seamless integration – designed to be incorporated into existing systems, ensuring compatibility and ease of use
– Compact and lightweight – perfect for portable or space-constrained applications
– Customisation – our spectrometers can be tailored to meet specific requirements, such as wavelength range or resolution
– Technical support – calibration services
Each SYLVA module is compatible with ELODIZ light sources and accessories, and can be integrated with or without SBC computers depending on application and customer requirements. We are currently also working on developing and SDK package which will be available with future versions of SYLVA spectrometers (please ask for details).
