Probes are an essential part of ELODIZ Raman designs. Fibre-optic probe is one of the more efficient and flexible tools in collecting Raman data. We have developed a versatile probe design with interchangeable shaft to fit our customer application requirements.

Our portfolio includes:

  • Standard Raman Probe – utilises one laser wavelength; comes with a 5cm long fibre-optic shaft  and is the perfect combination for many Raman applications and industrial reaction monitoring.
  • NEEGALA Raman Probe – unique construction, works with 2 complementary wavelengths (532nm and 785nm) – allows you to analyse the same spot with two laser lines without having to change to a different probe; a great tool in forensic, conservation art and mineralogy analysis 
Both probes are useable in temperatures between 0-50°C and support a variety of different shafts and optics. The shaft interchange can be easily performed by the user to suit their operating environment (provided appropriate laser safety rules are followed)*.
Our Standard and NEEGALA probes can be paired with the following accessories for a wide range of applications:
  • Standard stainless steel probe shaft (sold as part of the set with our Standard Raman probe)
  • Microscope objective  – equipped with SM05- threaded adapter to fit 12.7mm diameter optics; can be used with an adjustable parfocal length extension (complementary accessory)
  • Immersion shaft (requires adaptor) – SS316 body and quartz/sapphire lens; perfect for process measurements, available for 532-785nm Raman instruments

*WARNING – optics must only be replaced when laser is off and with strict adherence to laser safety precautions.
