THEYA Spectrometer Calibration Light Sources
Accurate spectroscopic measurements depend on more than the performance of the instrument. Regular calibration and verification are important for maintaining reliable and consistent results.
The ELODIZ THEYA range includes two dedicated light sources for different aspects of spectrometer calibration:
THEYA Neon
The THEYA Neon is a compact spectral light source for wavelength calibration and spectrometer resolution verification.
It produces stable neon emission lines across an approximate wavelength range of 500 to 1000 nm. These known emission lines allow users to check the accuracy of a spectrometer’s wavelength axis and assess its spectral resolution.
THEYA Relative Intensity Correction (RIC) LED
The THEYA RIC LED is a traceable irradiance light source developed for relative intensity correction of Raman instruments.
It helps correct variations in spectral response caused by differences in instrument design and optical components. Configurations are available for Raman systems operating with 532 nm and 785 nm excitation.
Choose the Right THEYA Light Source
Choose THEYA Neon if you need to:
- Check wavelength accuracy.
- Verify spectrometer resolution.
- Perform routine wavelength calibration.
Choose THEYA RIC LED if you need to:
- Correct the relative intensity response of a Raman instrument.
- Improve consistency between Raman measurements.
- Support calibration of 532 nm or 785 nm Raman systems.
- Use a light source aligned with ASTM and CEN-CENELEC standards and EU CHARISMA protocols.
Both products are compact, easy to integrate, and designed to provide stable and repeatable performance in laboratory, industrial, and portable spectroscopic applications.
